S.E. Mme Fatoumatta Bah Barrow

Biographie

Fatoumatta Bah Barrow born (5th August 1974) is the First Lady of The Republic of The Gambia. Mrs Barrow is actively engaged in various humanitarian and charitable organisations with activities targeted at the most vulnerable groups of society. The public role that she assumed as First Lady focuses predominantly on providing assistance to all Gambians, with a particular focus on women and children.

From 2000 to 2001, Mrs Barrow worked as a sales and marketing agent at Elton Oil Company, and from 2001 to 2008 at local mobile telephone company. From 2009, Mrs Barrow- was occasionally involved in small business activities

In 2017, Mrs Barrow initiated her Foundation, the Fatoumatta Bah Barrow or ‘FaBB’, to pursue her desire to not only bring about change, but also help save and improve the lives of the vulnerable groups of society throughout The Gambia.

She has two children.
