H.E Zita Oligui Nguema
- Biografia
Her Excellency, the First Lady of Gabon, Mrs. Zita OLIGUI NGUEMA, was born on 25 September 1978 in Libreville. Holder of a Scientific Baccalaureate and a Master’s degree in Plant Biology, she completed her academic journey with a Postgraduate Diploma in Customs Studies from the Customs Training Centre of Casablanca, Morocco (CFD), in 2005.
She joined the Gabonese Customs at the Regional Directorate in 2006, followed by an assignment to the Central Office of Libreville at the Airport as Central Inspector in 2007.
The First Lady of Gabon serves the people of Gabon through all her spheres of responsibility. She acts not only in her capacity as the spouse of the Head of State, but also as a woman, a mother, and a citizen, fulfilling with devotion and love her many roles and duties within the nation.
Through her foundation “Ma Bannière”, the First Lady is committed to transforming the lives of young people in distress and/or struggling with drug addiction. The initiatives undertaken by the Ma Bannière Foundation are designed to address urgent needs in protection, education, reintegration, and medical care, while fostering an environment conducive to resilience and self-reliance.
The key areas of focus of the Ma Bannière Foundation are:
• Education and Reintegration
• Medical Assistance and Support to Vulnerable Groups
• Awareness-Raising and Prevention
• Environmental Protection
In addition, the First Lady also carries out her mission through the specialized departments of her office, particularly the Social Department
